Rain, rain

*I feel like my songs are getting worse. I think I just need some new ideas. I wrote this when we were getting tons of rain from the hurricanes. and also, I finally wrote something that is NOT a love song!!*

Hear the rain fall down
It's so fast, so loud...
It puts me to sleep,
This is how it should be.

Rain, rain, don't go away.
I want it to rain all day.
Tell the sun it doesn't have to stay!
This kind of weather makes my emotions sway...[go back to first stanza]

Night Time

*I started this when I stayed at my Granparents last weekend. The funny thing is, I originally intended for this to not be a love song. I even wrote at the top of my paper a note to myself saying, "This is not a love song" and  failed...oh well! I finished it!*

vs1-
The moon is in full bloom tonight,
The wildlife is suddenly alive.
The blackness filled with the lantern of the sky,
This is when they do  not wish to hide.

Chorus-
Hear the crickets sing!
Hear the nighttime rain cleanse everything.
Feel the world at ease,
it soothes me to feel the peace.

vs2-
I'm going to speak to you tonight.
I'll hear your voice, and see your smile again.
Your face will fill my dreams once again tonight,
I feel starry eyed, when I hold your hand. [chorus 2x]

Smile Says it All

*Hmm, yes. Based on an actual experiance! Or actual feelings, however you want to put it.*

vs1-
I saw you from across the room
but then you left just (oh) to soon.
We locked eyes, but then I sighed,
I should prob'ly let these feelings reside

Chorus-
So please let me tell you
you make the grey sky so blue!
You are so amazing! (so amazing)
When all hell is raising
Your smile tells me everythings ok! (everythings ok)

vs2-
And then that day I heard you sing
Your emotion found in everything
I listened to your every word,
The feelings of the song were heard. [chorus, Bridge]

Bridge-
But this is reality
Not a Disney princess love story.
I've gotta stop looking for love
and just let love find me.
But just so you know (just so you know)
You are amazing and so stunning...[chorus]

Drowning in Memories

*kay, this is actually really depressing. especially if you here the chords to it. And I PROMISE I wasn't depressed when I wrote it. But I actually really like the sound, and it has a story behind it, of a girl who goes through emotional problems, and has a hard time getting through them and moving on. It's like a cry for help for some one to help her.*

--
She's drowning in, her memories
Losing sense of all reality
She can't let go, but musn't show
Emotion or her self-pities...
--
Some one help her please,
Some one save her please.
Help her let go,
of all these painful memories...

-Days to Weeks-

*so, I really like this one alot, actually. it has a nice waltz tempo and is just....happy. makes no sense, which i love in song!*

vs1-
Days turn to weeks
when your with me
the flowers bloom so bright
you give them so much light!

chorus 1-
Please don't go! I need you here by me!
Time moves so slow, the birds fly so free!

vs2-
Grass is so green,
The sky is so blue.
The fish swim in the sea,
I'm so in love with you!

chorus 2-
Please don't go! I need you here by me!
Time moves so slow, the birds fly so free!
The stars shine ever so bright!
As our hearts start to take flight!

End-
Lets runaway,
I love this time of day...

Some Day, Not No Day

*my very first song*

vs1-
I am all alone
I need you here in my embrace
We can spend a day
where I can always
see your face

chorus-
I know someway
we can be together
I know someday
we can hold each other (each other)

bridge-
When you feel
like the world
is crashing at your feet,
come to me
our love will make it
bittersweet
(go back to verse 1)
